DESCRIPTION
The RISD Museum houses over 80,000 works of art, ranging from ancient Greek and Roman sculpture to French Impressionist paintings, to contemporary art in every medium. The Museum's collection, including textiles, works on paper, ceramics, glass and furniture, is displayed in 45 galleries on three floors, tracing the history of art from antiquity to the 21st century.
Shop ‘til you Drop! One of our most enthusiastic
guides, Sarah Tallarico (the West Side Tour Guide) will be
leading our second annual November Shopping Tour. The tour will visit a selection
of galleries from each route and leave plenty of time for browsing and purchasing
unique gifts.
From Sarah - "I am a local artist who has been working
for Gallery Night as a tour guide for three years and I absolutely love it!
I look forward to guiding the shopping tour once again this year which gives
participants a unique opportunity to purchase one-of-a-kind gifts for those
art lovers and special people in your life. The Holidays are right around the
corner, let's start celebrating next Thursday in anticipation!"
The tour starts from Citizens Plaza at 5:30 pm.
